Offered for your consideration is this AGFA OPTIMA CAMERA. It comes complete in a brown screw on protective leather case with carry strap.

This camera was manufactured between 1959 and 1963.

It has a Colour Apotar Lens in a Compur shutter.

This camera is acclaimed to be the world’s first fully automatic camera.

CONDITION

CAMERA BODY: COSMETICALLY in EXCELLENT condition, with lovely shiny chrome.

The chrome has no dings, brassing or scuffs.

The top and base plates are Excellent.

The vulcanite is Excellent, with no faults, lifting or scuffs.

The leather case is Excellent.

MECHANICALLY: seems excellent; the shutter is in working order, and the view is clean and clear.

This camera has not been tested but has the appearance of being a pampered photographic tool.
