The active ingredients in Agita 10 WG are Thiamethoxam and Z-9 Tricosene. Thiamethoxam is a broad-spectrum neonicotinoid insecticide that affects the nervous system of flies and beetles. Z-9 Tricosene acts as a sex attractant, helping lure both male and female flies to the bait. This dual action helps increase uptake and delivers rapid knockdown and longer-term control.
Agita 10 WG can be applied in multiple ways depending on your pest control needs. The product is highly versatile, allowing users to mix it with water for paint-on application, low-pressure spray, or use as a feed bait for beetle control in poultry houses. This flexibility makes Agita suitable for both targeted spot treatments and broader applications across large surface areas.
When mixed with water, the granules form a paintable or sprayable suspension. This mixture adheres to walls, ceilings and other surfaces where flies congregate. As insects land on or ingest the bait, they receive a lethal dose that quickly reduces fly numbers. The inclusion of an attractant helps pull pests away from livestock and animal pens into treated zones, reducing irritation and disease transmission risks.

Paint-On Application:
Mix 50 g of Agita 10 WG with 40 ml of lukewarm water until you get a brushable liquid. Stir regularly. Apply in strips about 30 cm² on walls, ceilings and other areas where flies gather. Cover only about 2.5 % of the total surface area for effective control.
Low-Pressure Spray:
Create a suspension by mixing 50 g of Agita 10 WG with 400 ml of lukewarm water. Apply to surfaces frequented by flies, such as warm wall sections, posts, window frames and feeding areas. Avoid areas accessible to children and animals.
Litter Beetle Control (Poultry Houses):
Apply spray bands around the perimeter of poultry houses at the wallceiling junction. Mix 4 g of product per m² of surface. Spray after cleaning and before introducing new stock for best results. Alternatively, mix small amounts of bait with feed in designated areas to target beetles at feeder points.
Agita 10 WG is toxic by contact and ingestion. It is harmful to bees and aquatic organisms; avoid contamination of water sources or flowering plants. Always store the product in its original container below 30 °C and out of reach of children and uninformed individuals. Wear protective gloves, safety glasses and protective clothing during application. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling the product. Do not store mixed liquids; prepare only what you need for immediate use.
Keep animals and pets away from treated surfaces until dry. Do not allow livestock to lick areas treated with the product or where bait has been applied. When the application is complete, clean the equipment thoroughly and dispose of the rinsate responsibly.
