Extra Information

When spray finishing, keep the spray gun parallel to the workpiece surface for the most even coverage.
A good starting distance is roughly the width of the spray pattern from the surface.
Lower air pressure reduces bounce-back (overspray). Only increase pressure if the spray pattern becomes uneven (paint concentrated in the middle with a wide fan setting).

Pro Tip

Before spraying your job, do a quick test pass on cardboard: set the fan wide, then adjust fluid until the pattern is even with no heavy centre band.
