On the 27th of March 1953 Goerge Hale Claimed two MiG 15s in the skies over North Korea. Flying Meteor A77-851 Halestorm Hale was credited with one damaged and one probably destroyed. This was the last air to air combat the RAAF has been engaged in to date.
