Ajax DoorProtect - includes wired input for 3rd party detectors
The Ajax DoorProtect is a wireless opening detector that notifies you of any unauthorised window or door openings. It can be mounted on all types of doors including a metal base.
The device consists of two modules, a detector, and a magnet. The set includes a big and small magnet for installation on narrow door and window frames.
The sensor comes with a battery and is therefore ready for installation. Scan the QR code on the back of the device with your smartphone and it connects to the hub.

Magnets
1x Small and 1x big magnets are included in the set.
The small magnet operates at a distance of up to 1 cm from the detector and 2cm with the big magnet. Attach the magnet on the right side of the detector.
Protection against reed switch chattering
The detector ignores vibrations lasting up to 0.15 s.
Input to connect an additional detector
Wired detector with the normally closed (NC) contact type.
Chime
When the system is disarmed, the siren makes a special sound to notify that the opening detectors are triggered.
NOTE: The system requires an Ajax siren for the Chime feature to work. Chime feature is only available on sirens with the following firmware versions:
- HomeSiren Jeweller 5.55.1.0 and higher
- StreetSiren Jeweller 3.73.1.0 and higher
- StreetSiren DoubleDeck Jeweller 3.73.1.0 and higher
