Device Functionality

• Energizer Arming / Disarming:

An Ajax Relay wired to the On/Off switch of the energizer allows system users to arm and disarm the energizer from anywhere.

• Fence Alarm Notifications:

Ajax Ajax DoorProtect or Ajax Transmitter is wired into the Energiser Siren or Strobe light output via a Single Pole relay to prevent blowing the Ajax devices. When the fence alarm activates, it triggers the Ajax DoorProtect or Transmitter that instantly notifies system users.

Which device to use for Fence Alarm Notifications?

• Ajax DoorProtect (1x CR123A battery) is perfect to use if the energiser is installed in the garage, house or in relatively close proximity to the Hub,
• Ajax Transmitter (3x CR123A batteries) is better suited for extended transmission if the energiser is installed along boundary walls / further away from Hub.

*NOTE: If the energizer is installed outdoors in a Steel Enclosure, we recommend that the Ajax DoorProtect / Transmitter is installed in a Plastic Enclosure outside of the Steel Enclosure.
