This is the AKSA AK14 model. Nice enough for a GLOCK 17 Gen 3 type replica and does feature a metal trigger w/ a fully functional double blade trigger safety. This pistol is somewhat beefy compared to a GLOCK firearm, so please do bear this in mind prior to purchasing this pistol - have a look at the technical specifications table at the bottom of this description for dimensions and weight on this product.
The frame is completely polymer, featuring rather aggressive periodical box checkering down the handles in angled formation. Your finger rests here are ambidextrous, for your thumb and index finger to seat on for better ergonomy.
The handle furthermore, features the typical GEN 3 finger grooves w/ the centrifugal layer box texturing, specifically two rows on the top two finger grooves, whereas the middle finger slot has three rows of the aforementioned.
The magazine release is rectangular w/ vertical grooves for finger traction. These are vertical in related to the rectangular shape of the magazine release, although this rectangular box shape itself is slightly forwardly-slanted to provide better traction for the downward curve shape of the frontal thumb digit.
The slide catch release is a rounded-edge rectangle shape that is horizontally serrated. albeit very finely. It is somewhat more of an aesthetic feature, than a practical one, as you'll push the tab down from the top, at the uppermost rotund, rather than pulling the tab down by its side. Under this tab, there is a slight mound to counteract accidental / unintended toggling of this tab.
Under the barrel, we have a Picatinny rail available w/ a single cross-bolt slot positioned slightly forward from the middle of the rail, toward the barrel.
The cocking serrations to the rear of the slide, create seven broad grooves that, in conjunction w/ the 90° angles of the serrations, will create a non-slip area by which one can confidentally rack the slide.
The barrel end of this pistol does peer out slightly beyond the slide, about 3mm average, although this might vary from model to model.
The magazine capacity here is 14+1 of course and the magazine body has that shiny coating alot of Turkish manufacturers like to put on the magazines of their blank guns
