CONDITION	Complete with dust wrapper. The dust wrapper is very tatty with pieces missing at front right corner and both sides of the spine panel. Slight browning of pages.
NOTES	It is a book to be read, to be treasured, to be handed on from father to son, for it seems destined to become one of the classics of South African literature in its field. book tells the story of the immense herds of wild animals that roamed South Africa before civilization reached or shores and the guns began to do their deadly work. It is a story of early naturists and hunters such as Burchell, Harris, Cumming and Selous and of the author's hero Stevenson - Hamilton who lived at Sabie and built the Kruger National Park in 40 years.
