Common Name: Annual Hollyhock 'Indian Spring' Mix These wonderful old-fashioned flowers grow on tall stems and are excellent as a backdrop for shorter flowers in informal planting beds. The cultivar series 'Indian Spring' produces white, pink and yellow blooms which may blossom the first year and are perfect as cut flowers. Don't panic if you get a small showing the first year. Hollyhocks usually do better in most areas in the second year as its root system becomes more established. Since Hollyhocks are prone to Rust (fungus) it is suggested that you keep your eyes open for the first sign of spots under the leaves. Remove and dispose of these leaves as soon as possible. It combines well with delphinium, foxglove and other tall perennials along walls and fences. Although a perennial, Indian Spring can bloom the first year if sown early. The bid amount is for 1 Seed We'll supply you with all the germination & care instructions. |
