Originally from Syria. The traditional method of drying Aleppo Chilli is to hang it up in ristras and air dry. A sweet chilli with a slight kick of heat. Goes great with cheese dishes that require a mild heat.

This chilli is rated at 2500 scoville heat units. The Scoville scale is a measurement of the pungency (spicy heat) of chilli peppers, or other spicy foods as reported in Scoville heat units (SHU), a function of capsaicin concentration.
