The primary benefit of this pleasant smelling meal is to increase organic matter, although it is also a valuable plant-derived fertilizer with a 3-1-2 ratio. Alfalfa Meal is an all natural, organic fertilizer that replenishes sugar, starches and proteins and also contains triaconatol, a natural growth hormone.\
Alfalfa also acts as an accelerator in a compost pile and also adds nitrogen content and absorbency.
For new plantings mix 0.5 cup per plant into the soil.
For vegetables and flower beds, work in at 250-350 grams per square meter
