VERY RARE VINTAGE ITEM -- 1944 "ALICE BLUE" series
LANCASTER & SANDLAND Ltd FINE PORCELAIN FOOTED JAM/SUGAR POT WITH LID AND HANDLE - SPOON INCLUDED
EXQUISITE Style in EVERY millimeter of this FABULOUS and GORGEOUS item. A Fine Porcelain Jam or Sugar Pot complete with a stamped Silver Plated Lid which has a bell-shaped finial. The Pot also has a stamped Silver Plated Collar which has a LOVELY swing handle attached. The Beautiful Pot itself is cube shaped with gently curving sides which slope inwards towards Four Rests/feet. The Pot is Lavishly Decorated in Golden Chintz Patterns set onto a Magnificent Powder Blue background on Two of the Four sides. The other Two sides are decorated with Colorful Floral Bouquets set into a Cream Color Background and framed in Gold Trim.

Due to the advanced age of this item there is some fine crazing on the inside and underneath - this is in the GLAZING and NOT the actual Porcelain. Otherwise the Pot as well as the Collar, Lid, Spoon and Paint are in PERFECT condition with NO chips, cracks, damages, rust
