DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	How lovely this portrait of the serious young lady is! Done in oil pastel by South African artist Alice Botha and framed in a wood / gilt frame with glass protection. The artwork is also mounted on a quadruple cardboard mount within the frame and is altogether beautifully decorative and striking. The whole artwork as framed is large and in vertical format. It measures 95 x 75 cm and the artwork within the frame measures 40 x 50 cm. The artist has signed it in the bottom left corner. This artwork is not dated, but dates from about 2006. Please have a look at the 4 images which follow, because they describe this lovely artwork better than I can.
CONDITION	The paper on which the artwork is done is not laid down and the artwork itself is in excellent condition. There are a few bump - and scuff marks on the gilt frame but it is ready to be hung as is.

NOTES
Beautiful, large, unusual, decorative and striking are descriptions for this artwork. Done expertly by a very good artist.
