 Hodder & Stoughton first printed 1966 hardcover. The jacket is unclipped, and has a small tear on the lower spine, as well as wear on the edges. There are two small stain spots on the corners. The spine is possibly lightly sunned, and the creases of the folds are worn in places. Rubbing / marks are apparent on the back. The boards are square and clean, with only very light edge wear. The pages are all clean and unmarked, apart from a book dealer's label and a pencil number on the FFEP. From Kirkus Review:

It's England with all the quirky kinds in the British character on display.
