The All-Star Baseball 2002 marketing campaign features All-Star Game MVP and World Series MVP Derek Jeter. Jeter stars in a national television campaign and appears in all print advertising and in store merchandising. National cross-promotions with Fleer Trading Cards, HoneyComb Cereal and Beckett Publications will run throughout the summer.
Jeter will also star in a public service announcement for the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), which oversees the rating of video and computer games. In the spot, Jeter advises parents and children to, "Play the Game that's Right for you."
