This device provides economical and precise solutions for AC or DCcurrent sensing in less than 100V isolation applications. It consists of alinear hall sensor circuit with copper conduction path located near surface ofthe die. Current flowing through this copper conduction path generates amagnetic field which is sensed by integrated hall IC and converted into aproportional voltage. Device accuracy is optimized through close proximity ofmagnetic signal to hall transducer. The ACS711 is optimized for low side currentsensing applications.
