They saw the chaotic energy of the Human world as a threat, so they subjugated Humanity and established the Great Barrier to separate the realms. The Great Barrier's presence cast the surface world into tumult. Magnetic fields and climate patterns were thrown in upheaval. As a result, the blue sky was lost behind a permanent pall of clouds. From this cataclysm, the Dark Current was born. It rushed over the world, carving it into four regions, swallowing countless cities in its wake. Humanity was decimated. The survivors were isolated and unable to travel the seas. Their numbers devastated and their military might scattered, they soon submitted to their Daemonic overlords. Several centuries have passed since then. The Daemons rule over a stratified world divided into several administrative zones, each with different cultures and climates. However, no matter how much time flows on, it cannot extinguish the flames of rebellion that burn in the hearts of Humanity. Now, the world is about to be reborn...
