This collection contains all the regular issue Union of South Africa 1/4 penny coins from 1923 to 1960.
The only dates not included in this collection are: 1925 (none minted in that year), 1926 (only 16 proofs made), 1927 (none minted in that year), 1929 (none minted in that year), 1930, 1931 Suid, 1933 (Only +/- 30 minted), 1934 (only +/- 50 minted), 1936 (43 minted) and 1940 (none minted in that year).
As fillers, 6x British 1/4 pennies are included for some of the scarcer years (or, as in the case of 1940, where no SA 1/4 pennies were minted). The dates are 1925, 1926, 1927, 1934, 1936 and 1940.
