ANTIQUE SET THOMAS MOHOGANY MANTLE CLOCK
A200 Series 8 Day pendulum strike movement
Almost mint condition - beautiful art deco style clock made in the USA

 


This beautiful Set Thomas Mahogany cased clock is in virtually mint condition.
It appears to be all original, with the original domed glass dial cover and brass dial and trim. The escapement is in beautiful shape with only the pendulum showing some slight peeling of the plating.
The original instructions and warranty is still on the back of the escapement door and in excellent condition too.
I believe the clock to be from the 1940's, but please do some research if not sure, I am not an expert.
It has an A200 series 8 day pendulum strike movement with chimes on the hour and half hour.
The clock does not have a key, so I could not wind it to fully test it for any length of time. When the pendulum is hung and started, it does however run and chime for a while before stopping.
Please note that the clock is being sold as is. Bear in mind it will need a service or adjustment in order to run perfectly.

The clock has a height of approximately 21cm and is 36cm at the base.
