Aloe hardyi
Rare Aloe from the Lydenburg area, usually grows of cliffs, so has a tendency to grow down.
Could therefore be planted in a hanging basket, or retaining wall outside.
The flowers are very much like Aloe arborescens, to which it is related.
It has proven to be quite easy in cultivation and gives no trouble.
It's very drought hardy and can go without water for long periods of time.
Plants on sale here are unrooted cuttings, removed from the motherplant.
