Aloe hereroensis Seeds
Namibian Sand Aloe
Aloe hereroensis or Sand Aloe received its specie name from where it was originally found in Northern Namibia, home of the Herero. The leaves are greyish-green in colour and are long and narrow in shape, they are curved inwards near the top which gives the rosette a rounded appearance. The leaf margins are armed with sharp reddish-brown triangular teeth. Aloe hereroensis flowers from mid-winter to spring in shades ranging from orange to scarlet; rarely a plant will produce yellow flowers.
