Aloe longistyla is a dwarf, stemless aloe that has grey green leaves with a waxy surface.

It has sharp white teeth on the leaves.

The pale salmon pink to coral red flowers are huge in proportion to the plant.

The flowers have unusually long stamens that protrude from the flowers.
