Aloe vanbalenii Seeds

Aloe vanbalenii is very special in colour. The flowers are yellow and the leaves of the rosette are a yellow-green with rusty red borders and shading. In full sun the leaves turn deep red.

This stemless aloe plants divide into clumps. The flowering time is mid winter. The long leaves make a graceful twist which gives the impression the rosettes are locked into a unit.

  
A relative large plant. Without a stem it is not high, but more than 1 meter across.
The plant can withstand frost. This is another aloe plant that adjusts easy to winter rain.
