The genus Aloinopsis is a group of South African Indigenous mesembs that belongs to the Aizoaceae family. Aloinopsis rosulata is a compact dwarf succulent that during summer bears beautiful fragrant honey scented yellow flowers with a red midline stripe. The rosettes of thick, reddish green leaves reach about 10cm in height ants best colours when the plants are a bit stressed from little water and high light intensity. Aloinopsis rosulata was named by Martin Heinrich Gustav Schwantes in 1926. Best grown in a container where it can be protected from severe cold and excessive water. |
