Francis Chichester, before becoming the first person to sail around the world single-handed (for which he 

became Sir Francis), was both an accomplished yachtsman and author. 

Here he interestingly describes his solo voyage across the Atlantic, and details both the physical and mental 

strengths required to do so.

Foxing strangely only appears on the inside of the dust jacket, and aside from dusting to the end-pages, the
