Always Lightly Tread - By E. Cronje Wilmot

Hardcover published by Howard Timmins, undated but assumed first edition, no jacket. The boards are gently edge-worn and bumped in places, with some light marks mostly to the top right of the front board, and some to the spine, and the corners are bumped. The name of a previous owner is written in pen on the reverse of the first end-paper. There are stains to the top external edges of the pages. Internally, all pages are yellowed, but are otherwise clean and unmarked. Illustrated and edited by C.T. Astley Maberly. The author's memoirs of his experiences as a Field Officer in Bechuanaland and Ngamiland (Botswana). This book was later reprinted under the title "Okavango Adventure Memoirs of a Game Ranger", a copy of which is available here
