Amazing Early Large Signed Chinese Brass Dragon Vase
This amazing, large, heavy, very early brass vase makes an incredible statement from its size to its wonderful shape, relief work and striking colour. It features dragons in high relief chasing the flaming pearl and some wonderful engraving around the entire vase. There's a large, impressed mark or signature to the base as well as an engraved signature or date under the flaming pearl. The Chinese dragon is a symbol of power, strength and good luck for people who are worthy of it and the 'flaming pearl' symbolizes the granting of wishes. This superb vase is in excellent condition and measures 39cm in height, 19cm at its widest, with a base diameter of 11.5cm and weighs an incredible 4.1kg's (excl. packaging).
