The photo was taken with no flash camera. Bottom middle at the back part of the frame has a small damage mark. You can not see it from the front. Little white paint can do the trick but hardly noticeable.
It is the left hand side painting that is for sale here. The right hand side painting is also for sale on another auction number ending on the same day Wednesday 3 Aug 2016. THE OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS OF THE FRAME: 515 X 430 MM. Art 440 x 365 mm. The width of the frame is 45 wide X 30 mm high. Artist Joan King.
In one of her other paintings which is also for sale on auction on BOB, she has a sticker on the back of the frame signed: "J. King 1965". Because of this, it is thus possible to say that this painting was painted between 1960 and 1970.
The painting is over 50 years old.
