The Kindle is brand new, unused, sealed in the original packaging and backed with a full warranty. It has been authorised for 'international shipment' and includes a USB cable for charging.
I have stock and it is already in South Africa (all import duties have already been paid), so there is no waiting period. I will ship within 1 business day after cleared payment. Personal pickup in Randburg also accepted.
This is the latest generation 6" kindle with WI-FI ONLY and without a keyboard, in the grey/graphite colour as in the picture. IT HAS NO ADS OR 'SPECIAL OFFERS' ON THE DEVICE. Beware of cheaper models with 'sponsored screensavers and special offers' - these are advertisements. Also, these models are not meant for use in South Africa; while they do work, the question is whether the warranty will be honoured. Mine are authorised for international shipment and come with a LOCAL warranty.
A common misperception: One does not need to be in a Wi-Fi hotspot to load books onto the kindle. Books are small and easy to download using your existing internet connection. You can then transfer books from your computer to the kindle using the included USB cable.
