The kindle is sourced from the USA and there is a 10-20 working day delivery window.
On average, it takes 14 days to be delivered. However, some buyers may be lucky and get it after only 10 days, others might need to wait 3 weeks. If you are in a rush, please ask before you buy, I will be able to give you a better estimate of delivery times. I also sometimes have one or two extra in stock. Please ask if you need one urgently.
Disclaimer: Many features on the Kindle Fire are not available in SA. This includes the Movies/TV Shows/Music, Amazon Prime Benefits, Amazon Market Apps and Cloud Storage - unless you have a US credit card & billing address and IP Address. There are ways to bypass some of these restrictions but it is not for novices.
Books work fine, you are able to purchase them from Amazon as with any Kindle. You are able to load your own content (Movies/Music/Android Apps) on the device, but you need a cable for that (not included).
