Item Notes

This chip is just over a year old and I am the first owner, in that time it's never given me any trouble at all. Temperatures have always been well below it's max, even while running with a 10% overclock (220MHz core speed).

Game performance is surprisingly good; I've run various new and relatively modern games using this CPU (with 2GB DDR2-800 and NVidia 8800GTS 512MB) including Crysis 2, NFS Hot Pursuit, Metro 2033, COD Black Ops, and many more. Game load times have never been a problem.

'Work' performance is exceptional; virtual machines run very well thanks to AMD-V support. Windows 7 Ultimate restart time (shut down, start up and login) is around 65 seconds (post on SevenForums).

Considering current gaming PC setups, this processor would be better suited to a work or media centre PC.
