AMD Desktop PC [Tower + 700mhz + 512 DDR + 40GB HD + DVD Writer +Graphics Card]

Please note that this auction is only for a tower - no monitor, speakers, mouse, or keyboard provided! Tower is in good condition, all components are fully working, i.e. hook up your own monitor, mouse, and keyboard and you're ready to go. Note that the item can be picked up in the Durban area, as noted below. Buyer will have to arrange courier services elsewhere.

Specifications:

Processor: AMD Duron 700 MHz (Even though it has a Duron processor, the motherboard can take a AMD Athlon XP processor up to 3.2Ghz - but they are hard to find. If you can find one, it is easy to upgrade).

Memory: 512MB DDR memory

Hard Drive: 40GB Maxtor

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2 (legal copy with license key on the PC, no CD provided, but it can be purchased from Microsoft).
Motherboard: Asus A7V600 (Athlon XP - Socket 462)

Audio Adapter: VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller
Network Adapter: 3Com Gigabit LOM (3C940)

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 9250 (128mb RAM, AGP x8)

Additonally I will include a second, fully working graphics card which has additional inputs but poorer performance to the installed card:  ATI Radeon 9200 (64 MB) AGP x 4 with DVI out & TV out.

Brand New Lite-On 20x Super All Write DVD/CD Writer and Rewriter recently installed. Also includes a stiffy drive, but I'm not sure if that works or not (don't have any disks with which to test it).

Will include the Graphics Card CD with full version of Power DVD and DVD Writer software and accessories. Additionally I will include the Linux Ubuntu 7.1 CD (which can make better use of the system resources than Windows if you choose to install it). If you need it I can also provide a CD with OpenOffice.org.
