The Radeon HD 6670 was a mid-range graphics card by AMD and based on the Turks graphics processor, in its Turks XT variant, the card supports DirectX 11.2. The Turks graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 118 mm² and 716 million transistors. It features 480 shading units, 24 texture mapping units, and 8 ROPs. AMD has paired 1,024 MB GDDR5 memory with the Radeon HD 6670, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 800 MHz, memory is running at 1000 MHz (4 Gbps effective).
Being a single-slot card, the AMD Radeon HD 6670 does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 66 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x VGA.
