The universal joint also makes it possible to turn the American Audio headphones outward freestyle single-ear monitoring.

To accommodate the variety of DJ equipment in use these days, American Audio HP 550 headphones are equipped with a mini plug as well as a pair of 1/4" adapters (1 straight, 1 right angle), each with a locking nut to prevent accidental unplugging during a gig. The headphones' partially coiled cord is approximately 4.5 meters long. American Audio delivers HP 550 headphones with a handy storage bag.
