Om is a mantra and the Sanskrit sound of Hindu origin. It is sacred in various Dharmic religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. It is placed at the beginning of most Hindu texts as a sacred chant to be recited at the start and end of a study of the Vedas or before any prayer or mantra.

In Hindu it means "absolute reality" and represents the divine energy which is related by three aspects, namely creation, preservation and liberation.

Amethyst is known as the ‘stone of sobriety’ as it was worn to ward of drunkenness and to instil a sober mind.  It is used as a dream stone and to help insomnia.  The Ancient Egyptians used the stone to guard against guilty and fearful feelings.  It has long been used to open the spiritual and psychic areas making it one of the power stones.  The stone further symbolises piety, sincerity and spiritual wisdom.

The bracelet is approximately 18cm and is made with stretch material.
