Chrom is one of the main protagonists in the Fire Emblem franchise. He is the captain of Ylisse's vigilante force, the Shepherds, and wields the legendary sword Falchion. Chrom has a strong sense of justice and is a crucial member of his squad.

When an amiibo is placed on the GamePad, that character will be brought into the game. Players can either watch the character battle other characters, battle alongside the character, or battle against the character. The more the amiibo is played, the more it levels up, unlocking different moves, equipment, and customisation options. They will also level up faster when pitted against other amiibo fighters.
