Ammonia Solution or Ammonia Hydroxide, is a solution of ammonia in water. The solution is a colorless liquid with a distinct odor, its used as a building-block chemical and a key component in the manufacture of many products people use every day.

Ammonia is used to clean a variety of household surfaces from tubs, sinks and toilets to bathroom and kitchen counter tops and tiles. Ammonia also is effective at breaking down household grime or stains from animal fats or vegetable oils, such as cooking grease and wine stains. Also used to purify water supplies and as a building block in the manufacture of many products including plastics, explosives, fabrics, pesticides and dyes.
