Product Notes
The included Guitar Rig software (PC version only) is trial software and will expire after 30 days. After the 30 days is up you can do one of the following things to continue using the Amped Pro G266:
1- Purchase a new (or used) registered version of Guitar Rig.
2- Download the free version (still feature packed) of Guitar Rig 3 GO from [http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/products/guitar/guitar-rig-go/] (fully tested on PC only. MAC version also available)
3- Find a high quality free alternative like GTR Solo (free for one year), Voxengo Boogex, Audacity, Kore 2 Player, Dirthead, Zinf or Freeamp. (compatibility is not guaranteed with every computer)
There is plenty of free high quality software available. Just search the chat forums at http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/ for software recommendations from users just like you.
To use this product on a MAC computer simply plug the device in and open the Garage Band software found on your MAC computer.
MAC software is NOT provided with the Amped Pro G266
Note: We do not provide any software related technical support. Once the Guitar Rig trial period is over, it is up to you to download or buy new software for use with the Amped Pro G266.
