An Albany Settler's Reminiscences by H. Dugmore (1871, 1st ed.)

This is the original 1871 edition of this book, which has since been reprinted. Stuck into the front of the book is a travel permit from the Boer War (January, 1901) for R. Gray, C. Gray and Miss Gray to travel from Grahamstown to Dordrecht -- and the back of this permit is signed by three of them.

PLEASE NOTE: The book is in very well worn condition: The covers have been taped with brown packing tape, as well as red plastic tape on the spine. The front cover is loose. The book is complete, but there is wear and tear and spotting to some of the pages.
