This awesome stoneware original 'Erven Lucas Bols' gin pottery bottle is in good vintage condition. 'Erven Lucas Bols was one of the most prolific Gin distillers and distributors between the early 1850's and 1920. Bols Gin Pottery Bottles stamped Erven (sometime Ervan) Lucas Bols Amsterdam. These pottery bottles are very common. the 1880-1910 bottles are wheel thrown and more highly collectible than the molded later bottles. They make lovely show pieces around the home. The bottle has normal age related wear which only adds to the rustic look if this item. The bottle stands 27,5 cm high and 7,5 cm across.
