This traditional Zulu cowhide shield and spear and knobkierie is in excellent condition. Zulu shields were originally used in battle. However, in our modern times they are mainly used for traditional Zulu ceremonies; such as weddings and funerals. These shields are also great for framing or hanging on a wall in an African themed living room or braai area. The tip of the spear is sharp and made op metal and the whole set is in wonderful condition.
