THIS AMAZING VINTAGE (c1960) JAPANESE MADE AKAI MODEL M-8 REEL TO REEL STEREO "CROSS FIELD" TAPE RECORDER MEASURES 61cm x 34cm x 26cm AND WEIGHS ABOUT 25kg. THE REEL TO REEL TAPE RECORDER HAS BUILT IN SPEAKERS AS WELL AS ADAPTERS FOR EXTERNAL SPEAKERS, SPEED ADJUSTERS AND ALL THE BUTTONS THAT MADE THESE REEL TO REEL RECORDERS WORK. THERE IS NO PLUG ON THE RECORDER, BUT I DID MANAGE TO SWITCH IT ON. I COULD NOT GET THE REELS TO TURN, BUT THERE WAS STATIC ETC THROUGH THE SPEAKERS ETC, SO CAN NOT CONFIRM THAT IT IS A WORKING REEL TO REEL.
