British TV drama based on the novel by children's author Melvin Burgess, in which a young boy goes back in time. The film opens after an air raid during WWII, in which a young girl is calling for help, although we don't see her. We are then brought forward to the present time following Tom (Matthew Beard), a young boy who lives with his mother in a rural community after his parents separated. When Tom discovers an old ruin whilst looking for a lost dog, his life begins to take a dramatic turn.
