A gorgeous and very hard to come by in usable condition antique sterling silver hallmarked coin purse. The hallmarks on the purse consist of the "GN" makers mark confirming it is an original G Norman piece, the Lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the Anchor Assay mark confirming it was made in Birmingham and the date letter "s" confirming it was made in 1917. The purse is in great condition for its age and there is minimal/ normal age and usage related wear. The purse weighs 75.8 grams and measures 9.5cm long x 8cm high.
