This antique bubble glass frame and portrait are in a fair condition. The glass is not cracked or broken. There are scratches on the frame. The backboard is still sturdy and securely in place even though it shows age-related wear and tear. The photograph is that of Pieter Johannes Janse van Rensburg who owned a farm Rietvlei in the Albertinia District. The frame and portrait are very old. It belonged to current owner’s (in her 70s) great-great-grandfather.
