An Antique Hallmarked 15ct Yellow Gold Double Chain-Linked Bracelet. The doubling is achieved by linking together the wider chain-linked circle across with a 9ct gold padlock. Should the padlock disengage there is a fine gold (unmarked) security chain. Attached is a 15ct gold ornament. When engraved this was probably intended as lady's wax seal stamp.
Bracelet: There are two alternating desigs for the links. Each link is marked for 15ct: "15 .625". Doubled length approximately 19 cm. Weight 23.35 gm.
Wax seal stamp ornament: Birmingham hallmarks for 15ct gold. The marks also include the date letter and the maker's name but they are in an awkward place and difficult to read.
Padlock: Stamped for 9ct gold. The design suggests a key-lock mechanism but the hasp only pressure engages. Weight 3.74 gm.
