This is a Beautiful piece of Antiquity. A Hallmarked Silver Calling card case made in Exeter in 1817 by Joseph Hicks. The outside of the case is in very good condition, two of the four hall marks on the front are very clear JH and the Date letter b. On the reverse The Lion is obvious but not 100% clear. The Pencil is in working condition and takes a lead with is slightly larger than the 0.9 mm which I have fitted in the pencil One pack of 0.9 mm leads will be included with the case. The inside of the case shows a lot of wear which is normal for an item which is more than 200 years old. The inside could be refurbished. The case Measures 95 mm x 70 mm x 13 mm, the pencil is 73 mm long. Total weight is 93.2 grams.
