THIS AWESOME HAND PAINTED VINTAGE (1950's) PORCELAIN "BOOKENDS" FIGURINE SET OF CHILDREN READING PICTURE BOOKS WERE MADE IN JAPAN AND WERE INSPIRED BY THE HUMMEL BOOKEND FIGURINES OF THE 1920's. THE FIGURINES MEASURE ROUGHLY 14.5cm TALL x 11.5cm LONG AND ARE IN GREAT CONDITION WITH ABSOLUTE MINIMAL AGE AND USAGE RELATED WEAR AND TEAR. THERE IS EVIDENCE OF AGE RELATED CRAZING WHICH ADDS TO THE APPEAL OF THIS BOOKEND SET. THEY ARE PERFECT FOR A KIDDIES ROOM.
