I think the pics say it all .... A branded shoe stretcher made in England and at size 2-4 we can safely assume this was made for ladies . 

The surface rust on the lever only adds to the character and appeal of this great collectable . You could of course remove this with Q20 and sand paper but as a collector its not what I would do .
