THE BARREL IS ORNAMENTAL, BUT IS IN GOOD CONDITION. I BELIEVE THAT IF YOU SOAK THESE BARRELS IN WATER FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS, THE WOOD EXPANDS AND THE BARRELS CAN BE USED, HOWEVER, WE HAVE NOT TESTED IT AND THE BARREL IS SOLD AS ORNAMENTAL. PLEASE VIEW THE PICS CAREFULLY TO FULLY APPRECIATE THIS BARREL AND TO CONFIRM THE CONDITION.
